Return of the Nephilim - Part 2

In our last issue, we examined the Nephilim; what they are and how they are depicted in Scripture. Now we will look at how the Church is positioned to confront these Nephilim today.

The Book of Revelation tells how the governments, the religious organizations, and the economic institutions will join together in a worldwide system, a beast. But the greatest threat is what rises out of the beast; the whore of Babylon. The whore of Babylon is the harlot church set up to control the people, make them drunk, and keep them faithful to the beast system. Some say this whore is the Roman Catholic Church, but that is only a part of it. The other part is apostate Protestantism, because it knows the truth yet still turns against Jesus Christ.

This false religious system makes people drunk by replacing the Creator with the creature. In preaching a gospel that sets affections on men, this system produces people that are more faithful to their pastors than to Jesus Christ. What is the sign of this drunkenness? The people hate the truth; they hate Jesus. It is amazing how many people call themselves Christians and yet they despise Truth.

Revelation 13:2 describes the beast as being like a leopard, a bear, and a lion. Daniel Chapter 7 lists the same attributes in Daniel’s vision. The leopard represents the Grecian empire, the bear would be communism, and the lion refers to the British empire. What we have is Greek intellectual humanism, a socialist/communist affiliation, with an English-speaking, British cultural bias.

Yet, there is one common denominator in all of these empires. Every empire from Babylon forward has embraced goddess worship. This is very important! The devil’s empire is built on a mother and son deity, not a Father and Son. It is matriarchal in its nature. It started with Nimrod and Semiramis in Babylon, and has come forward through time from there. Mankind is now being taken over by this matriarchal system. This has nothing to do with women, I am dealing with spirits. This spirit will pervert your heart and automatically turn you away from God and towards the flesh. It seeks to accommodate you and make you comfortable, not prepare you to be a warrior. It will make you docile and timid.

The endtime conflict is a struggle between Jesus and Eve. If you do not understand this then you will never understand the book of Revelation, including who the whore of Babylon is, who the beast is, etc. What we see in the beast and the whore are the fallen nature of Adam and Eve metamorphisized. Adam, as the authority, is represented by the governments of this world (the beast). Eve, the rebellious bride, is the false religious system (the whore). The Bible says that it has been put into the beast’s heart to destroy the whore. This is because Satan does not rule with his bride - he rules solo. In fallen Adam, Eve has created a sodomite that loves only one person: SELF. Likewise, the Antichrist will be enthroned as self-contained dictator.

The law of the jungle is self-preservation, and selfishness will be the earmark of the endtime person. It will distinguish between the wheat and the tares. Revelation 15:1-2 says:

Victory is obtained over the beast (the person), the image (his likeness), the mark (his sign), and the number of his name. What is the number of his name? The Adamic nature! Six is the day of man, the day man was created. Three 6’s represent a man who is totally given over to himself; spirit, soul, and body (666). The number of the beast is the selfishness of man.

When Adam fell, he immediately became aware that he was naked. He became self-conscious instead of being God-conscious. No longer led by the Spirit, Adam was soulish and carnal as he relied on his senses to dictate his reality. This is the mark of a carnal man, a beast. The natural man receives not the things of God because they are spiritually discerned (I Cor. 2:14). “Natural” is the Greek word psuchikos, referring to the soulish man. “Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.” (Romans 8:7) He that is in the flesh cannot please God. Once again the soulish man! When the soul raises up as the authority in man, he cannot receive from God’s Spirit because his mind is focused on himself. It is a blockage that came from the fall of man.

What is God’s way of getting rid of the soulish man? Kill him! Mortify him! Don’t try to fix him, change him, and dress him up. Kill him on the cross and, out of the loins of Jesus, let a new man come alive. That is what being born again of the Spirit is.
This is why you cannot pull law over into this realm; it will make you soulish. The focus becomes on you and what you have to do, which is self-consciousness. Much of the church is bound by the law and this prevents them from becoming spiritual. The law shackles you to the flesh, but to hear from God we have to be free. That’s why those who are led by the Spirit are like the wind. God did away with the first to establish the second. In the New Testament, Jesus has written the law in the heart of flesh so that we follow Him by nature via the Spirit, not by compulsion of law.

In these times we cannot afford to be yoked to the flesh because Nebuchadnezzar’s image is being rebuilt. Nebuchadnezzar created a golden image that was threescore cubits (66) high and six cubits (6) wide; it was a tribute to fallen man (666). And when the command came forth, the people were expected to bow down before it or be burned. This is what is happening now. The world is building a monolithic empire and they are going to tell you to BOW! What will you do? The three Hebrew boys chose to burn. There is no one like those who have gone through the fire with God because at that point God is no longer a theory. You can’t really know what you believe until you are with Him in the fire. In the fire your soul processes its own death and there is nothing to hold on to but Him. You said, “Jesus, I receive you as my personal Lord and Savior.” And He received you; but now He has to burn that world out of you.

There is a baptism of the Holy Ghost but there is also a baptism of fire. That is the endtime baptism and it is an inferno. Although designed for our good, most people see it as evil because the human mind always tries to find something or someone else to hold on to. It is this inability to walk with God alone that will cause many to fall in the end. I’m telling you, your home is in the heavenlies and you had better turn there. There is a reason why Satan wants you yoked to his world. Through the mark of the beast - selfishness - he is preparing men to receive the Nephilim so that they will in fact bow down when the man of sin is revealed.

Before creating his image to fallen man, Nebuchadnezzar had a vision about the rise and fall of earthly kingdoms down through time. This vision was represented by a great image with a head of gold (Babylon); breast and arms of silver (Medo-persia); belly and thighs of brass (Greece); legs of iron (Rome); and feet a mixture of iron (Rome) and clay (man). The image stood on the rudiments of the Roman Empire and Humanism mixed together. But what does Scripture say about this mixture? “And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.” (Daniel 2:43) “They” shall mingle themselves with the seed of men. Fallen angels have come down and mixed with mankind just as they did in the days of Noah and the days of Lot. They will not cleave to one another because it is a mixing of strange flesh, but it produces a different type of humanity; the Nephilim.

God is showing us a foreshadow of what is happening at the end. Everything Satan is doing right now is to prepare men to receive the fallen angels when they come. Scripture even tells us when that will be. Continuing with Revelation Chapter 15, let’s look at verse 3:

Here is a mystery. Those who have gotten victory over the beast are singing the song of Moses and the song of the Lamb unto the King of saints. But the question is “Why?” The song of Moses represents the Jews and the song of the Lamb are the Gentiles. It shows a lineage of people in Christ coming out of the natural Israelites and the spiritual Israelites. We are told that they are singing unto the King of the saints. The word “saints” literally means the sanctified ones. Those who gain victory over the beast are those who have been sanctified; those who have come out from amongst the world, both Jew and Gentile, and have joined together in Christ. The Bible says the middle wall of partition has been removed making one new man out of the two (Ephesians 2:14).

I believe this marks the rapture of the saints. There is not going to be a pre-tribulation rapture. When God says that we are not appointed to wrath, He is referring to His wrath. And we see His wrath about to be poured out at the end of Revelation Chapter 15. This is JUDGEMENT for rebellion against Him. Look at what happens next:

“And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth. And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.” (Revelation 16:1-2)

The wrath of God is poured out on those who have the mark of the beast (selfishness) and those who worship his image (fallen man). As you continue reading Chapter 16, you see God’s wrath being poured out on those that rebelled against Him. Scripture even tells us that in spite of this wrath, the people will not turn and repent. Yet, there is a reason why men will not repent. There is something in men that inundates them with this fallen nature and makes them stoically set against God. We can see just what it is by looking back at Revelation 12:7-12.
